Miners mined an empty BTC block

Block number 776339 was found and added to the BTC blockchain network with zero transactions. However, it plays no less of a role than those that are more loaded.

Despite its significance, such a finding has caused some bewilderment in the crypto community. Nevertheless, experts say that such blocks are a normal phenomenon. Moreover, a similar situation happened a little more than two weeks ago.

The fact is that miners tend to mine blocks as fast as possible, which leads to the fact that there is not a single transaction left to be included.

When a new block is found, the pools send an empty template to find it more quickly. The transaction block is also sent after that, but it is a longer process because of the large amount of data. Therefore, sometimes miners can get lucky and find a new block in a short time using the template. Note that even if there are no transactions, there is 6.25 BTC for mining. It is also important that the network does not perceive such blocks as a problem, because in any case a transaction is made, which brings bitcoin closer to the 21 million issues.
