Official reports confirm ongoing construction of a new mining farm in Mogilev Region. Chinese investors are pouring around 190 million Belarusian rubles into the project, slated to launch in 2025. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to run several thousand mining devices.
Local authorities have affirmed the engineering preparedness of the construction site. This endeavor could further boost Belarus’s tech reputation, as the country increasingly embraces digital initiatives. Preliminary estimates suggest the facility may mine hundreds of Bitcoins annually while creating job opportunities for local residents.
Hence, the Krichev project is viewed as a key milestone for attracting foreign capital and upgrading regional energy infrastructure.
