Harsh Penalties Introduced for Illegal Miners in Russia

One of the most notable cases involved miners in Novosibirsk, who received a 200-million ruble fine and had their equipment seized after being found guilty of electricity theft and large-scale fraud. Additionally, repeat offenders and those using unlicensed equipment face the possibility of lengthy prison terms.
