CleanSpark increases capacity at one of its facilities

A major BTC miner intends to increase the capacity of its data center, which is located in Washington.
The facility was purchased last August from WAHA for $16.2 million and was operational at the time of purchase. CleanSpark now plans to increase capacity to 50 mW from the original 36 mW.
The devices that will be added are the latest generations of Bitmain’s Antminer S19 in various modifications. As a result, the hash rate will increase by about 2.2 Eh/s. A more precise value will depend on the choice of equipment. The total number of additional miners will reach 16 thousand.
By acquiring this site, we saw opportunities for rapid expansion and capacity growth. In the second stage, the scale of operations will double.
Recall that in the bear market, CleanSpark pursues a policy of expansion, acquiring data centers and equipment at low prices.
