CleanSpark Boosts Capacity by 38% in One Week, Acquires New Bitcoin Mining Sites
CleanSpark announced that it has increased its operational capacity by 38% over the last seven days, totaling 211.5 megawatts (MW) of new capacity. This surge is due to the acquisition of two new Bitcoin mining sites in Mississippi for $5.775 million, which added 16.5 MW to its operations.
Additionally, the company closed on its second site in Wyoming, expected to add 3 exahashes per second (EH/s) to its hashrate upon completion. CEO Zach Bradford highlighted that these steps will support the company’s goals of reaching a hashrate of 37 EH/s by the end of 2024 and 50 EH/s in 2025.
CleanSpark continues to aggressively expand its operations, demonstrating confidence in the future of Bitcoin and a commitment to delivering long-term shareholder value.
