Bitdeer’s Strategic Boost: Tripling Bitcoin Production

Singapore‘s Bitdeer Technologies Group has unveiled staggering September 2023 figures. The firm mined 482 Bitcoins, nearly three times the amount from a year ago. Interestingly, the Gedu mining data center in Bhutan was a star performer, contributing 217 Bitcoins or about 45% of September’s total, according to cryptoslate.
This mining spike is largely due to Bitdeer‘s sharp business focus, the efficiency of its operations, and the smooth running of the new Gedu center. Bitdeer’s CEO, Linghui Kong, praised the company’s strong operational tactics, which led to a 25.8% rise in Bitcoin mining from August.
Kong credits the firm’s consistent electrical capacity of 895MW for their self-mining triumphs. He’s optimistic about Bitdeer’s strategic approach, foreseeing it as a significant value driver for shareholders.
Bitdeer operates in three key areas: Hash Rate Sharing, Hosting, and their primary self-mining business. As of September 30, the total managed hash rate stood at 21.2 EH/s, with 8.7 EH/s being proprietary. The company oversees 221,000 mining machines.
But Bitdeer isn’t stopping there. They’re building a 175MW immersion cooling data center in Tydal, Norway, set for completion in 2025. This initiative underscores Bitdeer’s dedication to enhancing its infrastructure.
Operating mining centers in the US, Norway, and Bhutan, Bitdeer remains at the forefront, offering holistic digital asset mining solutions to its clients. Their growth story and strategic approach provide a roadmap for other crypto organizations to emulate.
