Bitdeer Unveils SEAL02 Chip with Record Energy Efficiency of 13.5 J/TH

Bitdeer has announced the successful testing of its new Bitcoin mining chip SEAL02, which has achieved an energy efficiency of 13.5 joules per terahash (J/TH). This benchmark positions SEAL02 among the most efficient ASIC chips currently available in the market.

Developed in collaboration with leading semiconductor manufacturer TSMC, SEAL02 utilizes advanced technological processes. During prototype testing, the chip demonstrated high performance in power-saving mode, which reduces electricity costs for miners.

According to Bitdeer representatives, achieving such energy efficiency is a significant step forward for the company and the entire mining industry. It will help lower the overall energy consumption of the Bitcoin network, promoting more sustainable mining practices.
