Bitdeer launches SEALMINER A3 Bitcoin miners

Bitdeer has released its SEALMINER A3 series, offering high-performance Bitcoin miners with advanced efficiency, competing directly with Bitmain’s Antminer.

SEALMINER A3 enters the market

Bitdeer announced the launch of its SEALMINER A3 mining rigs, the latest generation of its in-house Bitcoin hardware. The lineup includes four models, featuring both air- and hydro-cooled systems. The flagship SEALMINER A3 Pro Hydro delivers 660 TH/s at 12.5 J/TH efficiency.

Other models include the A3 Hydro (500 TH/s, 13.5 J/TH), A3 Pro Air (290 TH/s, 12.5 J/TH), and A3 Air (260 TH/s, 14 J/TH). According to Bitdeer, the A3 rigs combine low-noise design with reduced energy consumption, helping large-scale miners cut operational costs. Mass production is expected to start in late September.

Competing with Bitmain, scaling operations

The A3 specifications position it alongside Bitmain’s Antminer S21 XP, which is already shipping at scale. Bitmain has also announced the upcoming Antminer S23, targeting sub-10 J/TH efficiency, expected in early 2026.

Meanwhile, Bitdeer continues to roll out earlier hardware generations. By the end of August, it had deployed 18 EH/s of SEALMINER A2 rigs across its sites in the U.S., Norway, and Bhutan, while shipping 6 EH/s to external customers. In August alone, Bitdeer mined 375 BTC, a 33% increase from July.

Looking ahead to SEALMINER A4

Bitdeer is also developing the SEALMINER A4, expected to reach around 5 J/TH efficiency. Additionally, the company plans to expand its U.S. manufacturing footprint, reinforcing its role as a leading player in the global mining industry.
