Bitdeer Expands US ASIC Production With Nevada Facility

Bitcoin mining firm and ASIC manufacturer Bitdeer has taken another step toward localizing its supply chain by leasing a major industrial facility in northern Nevada. The company secured approximately 188,000 square feet at Dermody’s LogistiCenter at Kiley Ranch in the Reno–Sparks industrial corridor.

The site will be converted into a manufacturing and assembly hub for Bitdeer’s SEALMINER bitcoin mining machines, which the company describes as its flagship U.S. production facility.

The expansion reflects rising concerns among mining hardware manufacturers about tariffs, export controls and shifting trade policies that have disrupted global supply chains in recent years.

Why Nevada fits Bitdeer’s strategy

According to Bitdeer, Nevada was selected due to its business-friendly regulatory environment, access to skilled labor and strong transportation links. The Sparks facility is expected to support both current production needs and longer-term development plans tied to Bitdeer’s proprietary mining hardware.

The company views domestic assembly as a key component of its SEALMINER roadmap, which includes deeper involvement in chip design and hardware customization for U.S. clients.

A broader shift in the mining hardware sector

Bitdeer’s move mirrors a wider trend across the bitcoin mining industry. Leading ASIC manufacturers and infrastructure providers are increasingly exploring U.S.-based manufacturing or final assembly to reduce exposure to cross-border disruptions.

As institutional demand for mining infrastructure grows, companies are prioritizing supply chain resilience and regional diversification. Local production also offers greater flexibility in responding to regulatory changes and customer requirements.

By anchoring part of its manufacturing footprint in Nevada, Bitdeer positions itself to better serve the U.S. market while reducing reliance on overseas assembly, signaling a structural shift in how mining hardware is produced and delivered.
