Bitcoin builders to compete in Las Vegas this May

BTC Inc., the organizer of the world’s largest Bitcoin conference, has officially announced the Bitcoin Games B25 Hackathon, presented by Bitcoin++. This three-day, high-impact event will gather developers, designers, engineers, and startups from around the world.

Participants will compete to build open-source Bitcoin tools and earn a chance to showcase their work live on the conference’s main stage.

A global launchpad for Bitcoin innovation

The $30,000 prize pool will be awarded to top teams who deliver standout projects. Finalists will present in front of over 30,000 attendees, including media, investors, and leaders from across the ecosystem.

Whether focused on Lightning, custody, privacy, or protocol-level tools, all Bitcoin-native innovation is welcome.

“This isn’t a side event,” said Justin Doochin, Head of Events at BTC Inc. “It’s where the next generation of Bitcoin begins.”

Free entry and exclusive perks for participants

Participation is free and open to individuals of all skill levels. Builders may register solo or as a team, and all eligible submissions will receive complimentary Bitcoin 2025 passes.

Doochin added, “This hackathon is a launchpad. It’s where collaboration begins and real products take shape.”

The event is supported by exSat, Bitcoin++, and UTXO, a venture capital fund focused on Bitcoin-native infrastructure. These sponsors will provide bounties, developer tools, and mentorship throughout the event.

Previous hackathon projects like ZBD, Trade Guardian, and TwelveCash prove how far new ideas can go with the right platform.

Kickoff event on X Space
