Bitmain unveils new ultra-efficient miner

At the World Digital Mining Summit 2025, Bitmain officially launched the Antminer S23 Hyd. This hydro-cooled device delivers up to 580 TH/s while consuming only 5,510 watts of power. Its energy efficiency reaches just 9.5 joules per terahash.

This makes the S23 Hyd the most efficient bitcoin miner on the market. It is ideal for miners aiming to reduce costs and stay competitive.

Flexible terms for buyers amid market slowdown

During the event, Bitmain’s head of mining, Irene Gao, shared the company’s response to weakening hardware demand. To attract new buyers, Bitmain is offering installment plans: 40% upfront, followed by 30% and 30% payments.

Customers may also lock in orders by pledging BTC for up to six months. This helps buyers fix pricing and ensure early access to shipments.

Early adopters can purchase the S23 Hyd at $30 per terahash. With promotional coupons, the price drops to $25.5 per terahash. First shipments are set for Q1 2026.
