State Duma supported the draft law on the regulation of mining in Russia

According to RIA Novosti, the bill, which concerns the regulation of mining, was supported in the first reading by representatives of the Committee on Financial Market. 

The head of the Committee, Anatoly Aksakov, noted that a review by the government is needed to further advance the project:

At the moment, this is being worked on the lower house of parliament may consider the bill as early as next week. 

Aksakov also noted that the committee took a preliminary decision. The feedback received from the government may be secured and submitted to the State Duma for consideration at a later date. 

Recall that the draft law concerning mining was published in November. It contains the obligation of both individuals and legal entities to provide a report on the mined cryptocurrencies and to indicate the address of the crediting of assets. 

According to some experts, the regulatory measures could lead to a black market in the exchange of cryptocurrencies, and their mass withdrawal abroad.
